Intern / Junior .NET Developer

Are you a student or recent graduate looking to start your career in backend development?

Join Buckaroo as an Intern .NET Developer and gain hands-on experience working on real fintech systems used by merchants across Europe.

This internship is designed for learning and growth. You will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to production systems that support merchant onboarding services, compliance screening, monitoring solutions, subscription management, internal APIs and third party integrations and they are all built within a scalable .NET architecture.

 

What you'll do 

  • Working hands-on with C# and .NET in a real production environment
  • Gain practical experience building and improving ASP.NET Core Web APIs
  • Work alongside experienced developers to understand and implement REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON integrations
  • Get hands-on exposure to MySQL, writing basic queries and understanding database structures
  • Practice using Git in a collaborative development workflow
  • Learn how to write and maintain unit tests (xUnit) with guidance
  • Participate in code reviews and team discussions to learn best practices
  • Gradually take on more responsibility as your skills grow


Tech & Skills (Basic level expected)

 

  • Basic knowledge of C# and .NET (university or personal projects are welcome)
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core Web API
  • Understanding of REST concepts, HTTP, and JSON
  • Fundamental knowledge of MySQL and/or relational databases
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Basic exposure to unit testing (xUnit)
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment
