Recap on a successful Horecava 2026
From January 12 to 15, Buckaroo was present at Horecava 2026 at the RAI Amsterdam for the first time. For four days, the event was all about connecting, inspiring, and sharing the latest hospitality trends and smart payment solutions.
We truly enjoyed speaking with hospitality entrepreneurs, partners, customers, suppliers, and other interested visitors. The energy on the exhibition floor and the enthusiastic responses made this edition especially successful for us.

Strong visibility of the brand and propositions
Our stand attracted a lot of attention and served as a place to showcase the Buckaroo brand and our propositions to a broad group of hospitality entrepreneurs and potential partners. Visitors spoke with us about current payment challenges and discovered how, in addition to our payment terminals, solutions such as Tap to Pay and ordering kiosks contribute to faster and easier on-site payments.
There was also strong interest in our renewed partnership with YouLend, which enables hospitality entrepreneurs to be even better supported in their financing needs. The conversations once again confirmed that flexibility, convenience, and reliability are essential in modern hospitality payment processes.
In conversation and in motion
In addition to in-depth conversations, we intentionally created interaction and experience at the stand. The claw machine was a playful way to engage visitors and start conversations. Filled with a variety of prizes from both our customers and Buckaroo itself, it generated many enthusiastic reactions. Collaborations with several customers further added to the lively atmosphere at the stand.
In collaboration with ’t Stoepje and Coffee on Wheels, we provided many visitors with an on-the-go breakfast. Together with our customers GrapeDistrict, Festival Cadeaukaart, and Wispe Brewery, visitors were able to get to know real-life examples of Buckaroo solutions in an accessible and practical way.
Meeting, connecting and looking ahead
The conversations, new connections, and positive feedback provided us with valuable insights that we will take with us in the further development of our solutions for the hospitality sector.
