Buckaroo expands with three new European payment methods: Bizum, Swish and TWINT
Good news for webshops with international customers! Buckaroo is expanding its payment offering with three popular local payment methods for Sweden, Switzerland and Spain. Starting today, Bizum, Swish and TWINT can be added to the checkout via Buckaroo.
With Swish, TWINT, and Bizum, Buckaroo helps merchants provide local, trusted payment experiences across Europe. These payment methods are used by millions of consumers in their home countries and help webshops increase conversion rates and reduce checkout drop-offs.
- Bizum is a popular payment method in Spain, offered by almost all Spanish banks with a coverage rate of up to 99%. Payments are processed instantly between bank accounts using the consumer’s mobile phone number.
- Swish is a popular account-to-account (A2A) payment method developed by Sweden’s largest banks in collaboration with the*Central Bank of Sweden. It is one of the most widely used payment options for e-commerce in the country.
- TWINT is the leading mobile wallet in Switzerland, supported by all major banks and used by more than 6 million consumers. For the Swiss population, TWINT is as commonplace as iDEAL is for Dutch consumers.
