Buckaroo, a leading provider of payment solutions in the Netherlands and Belgium, introduces Tap to Pay. This app lets merchants and businesses turn their mobile phones into a full-fledged payment terminal in no time, making it faster and easier to accept payments than ever before.
With the Tap to Pay app, merchants can perform authorized PIN transactions using their mobile phone. Everything that a regular payment terminal can do can also be done with the Tap to Pay app: accepting payments via a bank card, another phone, and wearables (smartwatches). Additionally, PIN refunds are possible as well.
“Tap to Pay van Buckaroo is a very accessible solution for merchants to quickly and securely accept contactless payments on-site with their own mobile devices,” says Jelle Hoes, Chief Technology Officer at Buckaroo. “Think of hospitality, market stallholders, taxi drivers and kiosk owners, but also larger organizations with many mobile selling points such as parcel delivery companies, delivery services and charities. Because no separate payment terminal is needed anymore, payment processing becomes easier for these merchants and they save costs.”
Tap to Pay is available for Android devices that have an NFC chip and soon also for iOS. In the near future, it will be possible for customers to link Tap to Pay to their online store, online checkout and inventory management system, and add online payments. This makes the new solution a true omnichannel product. For more information go to the Tap to Pay pagina
