From Dation to Buckaroo

Through his driving school software provider Dation, Yilgör was introduced to Buckaroo. When they asked if he wanted to use iDEAL so he could accept payments via his website, they arranged this through Buckaroo. Since then, he has remained a loyal Buckaroo customer. “iDEAL works perfectly via Buckaroo; it’s the most popular payment method in the Netherlands, so it’s suitable for all my customers,” says Yilgör. He is also enthusiastic about the integrations in his webshop that he has with Buckaroo. “I download the transaction overviews every day and compare them with the invoices we have sent. We are also very satisfied with the refund option, which makes it easy to transfer money back. We use this regularly. It’s all very clear, and it’s great to be able to offer customers such an easy payment method like iDEAL and now also iDEAL in3.”

Another important advantage for Yilgör is the fast processing time of transactions. “The integration with the software works flawlessly. I have never detected a single error in it, even though we process many payments through Buckaroo. Everything is always tracked in real time, making it very user-friendly. Pay in Three Installments

Yilgör’s business has grown significantly in recent years. He now manages three branches. His customer base consists of roughly 50% businesses and 50% private individuals. For the latter group in particular, iDEAL is especially relevant. With larger companies, he notices that payments are often transferred directly or handled by invoice. He continues: “With all three driving schools we use Buckaroo. Lately, we’ve noticed that customers are paying later and later. This has consequences for our cash flow position.”

Because customers are struggling to pay and often delay payments, the number of outstanding invoices is increasing. Sending reminders and handling other administrative tasks related to this costs us a lot of extra time and effort. That’s why we started offering the payment method iDEAL in3 through Buckaroo in January last year. With this option, customers can pay the total amount in three installments. This makes it easier for customers to meet their payment obligations, as they automatically receive a reminder from iDEAL for each installment. In this way, we aim to speed up the payment process.”
