Payconiq joined the European Payment Initiative to prepare the launch of Wero, a new European instant payment solution. During this transition Buckaroo will take over the merchant relationship for Payconiq. Your Payconiq acceptance continues as before and later Buckaroo will support you in adding Wero once it becomes available in Luxembourg, planned for mid 2026.

What does this mean for me as a Payconiq merchant?

Your Payconiq services will be migrated to Buckaroo. You will continue to accept Payconiq payments without interruption, and youโ€™ll also gain access to additional Buckaroo features, reporting tools, and customer support.

Who will handle my invoicing after the migration

You will receive invoices from Buckaroo instead of Payconiq. You should log in to the Buckaroo Plaza for the latest invoices and reporting.

During phase 1 how are payouts processed?

Bulk Payouts will be processed exclusively through Buckaroo, while the existing payout procedures for Online, Invoice, In-Store Static, and In-Store Integrated channels will remain unchanged.

What is Wero, and how does it benefit my business?

Wero is a new European digital wallet developed under the European Payments Initiative (EPI). It allows customers to pay easily and securely directly from their bank accounts.

How do I access my.Buckaroo

Your payouts continue to the same business bank account as before, processed via Buckaroo.

No, the payout schedule remains the same.

Will customers still be able to pay with the Payconiq app?

Yes, you can continue offering Payconiq as before.

Do I need to replace my Payconiq QR codes?

No, your existing QR codes will continue to work.

Will I still have access to the Payconiq merchant portal?

Yes, the current Payconiq portal remains available for real time payment monitoring and transaction history.

What will happen with the Payconiq brand in Luxembourg? 

The Payconiq brand will remain. You can continue offering Payconiq as before.
