About Girav

The Girav brand is renowned for its long T-shirts. Within a short period of time, the brand has built a solid reputation, making almost every Dutchman familiar with “Girav with a v”. The T-shirt brand was founded in 2010 and chose to sell their products exclusively and directly on their website. Payments can be made with for example iDEAL, PayPal and their own Girav gifcard.

Customer experience

Girav was developed out of frustration. Being 1.97m tall, the founder struggled with finding appropriate clothing that fitted. Having ample experience in the clothing industry, he therefore developed a measurement system that also takes body length into account: the Girav Long Fit Maatsysteem (Girav Long Fit Measurement System).

International payments

In order to expand the brand’s international ambitions, Girav has teamed up with Buckaroo when it comes to payments. Nowadays, Girav orders are sent to over 50 countries in the world. Customers can pay safely from every location from behind their computer or on their mobile phone. Together with Buckaroo, new developments and payment methods are closely monitored in order to respond to market needs on time.

The Girav Giftcard reduces the stress customers experience when having to choose the right gift. Giftcard receivers can make their own choice from the wide range of colours and models. They can decide themselves which is their appropriate size. Moreover, Girav wraps the gift card as a real present, with the luxurious black packaging creating a total brand perception.

From product to brand

The first few years after Girav’s introduction, they strongly focussed on the product and the long T-shirts concept. In recent years, the company has transformed to a full-fledged clothing brand for men. The collection clearly focuses on T-shirts, but nowadays also carries polo shirts, pullovers and shirts.

The brand experience is used in all types of marketing. Whether it’s a tv commerical or the order confirmation by mail: the Girav style is omnipresent. Having their own gift card contributes to this. Girav created the card in cooperation with Buckaroo and GivaCard.
