Matthias: “No one likes to receive payment reminders. It feels like you’ve done something wrong and the language use can be quite intimidating. That’s why we try to make the tone of voice in our emails as pleasant as can be. With this specific goal in mind, the entire email is designed to obtain the final payment.”

“We designed the payment requests ourselves. Marketeers can do so very easily via html and css. We have opted for a clear blue background, because it’s simple and without distraction. The tone of voice is completely tailored to the language use of students, and we even use emojis in our payment requests.”
