Buckaroo launches Buckaroo Accounting: transactions automatically linked to the accounting

New integration with entrepreneurs' accounting software reduces manual work and provides up-to-date insight into the financial administration

Utrecht, 1 September 2026. Financial services provider Buckaroo today launches Buckaroo Accounting, a new solution with which customers can directly link their payments via Buckaroo to their accounting. Revenue, costs, payouts and refunds are processed directly in the accounting. That saves manual administrative work, reduces the chance of errors and provides up-to-date insight into the financial situation. 

Processing and verification of payments typically take a lot of time. Especially when data from different systems have to be manually processed into their own accounting. Thanks to Buckaroo Accounting, that is a thing of the past. After activating the linkage, new transactions are processed automatically. This keeps the administration up to date.

“Merchants want to be able to focus on the growth of their business and not be busy with manual processes to get their accounting in order,” says Bart van Wijk, Head of SME at Buckaroo. “With Buckaroo Accounting we take a portion of this administrative burden off merchants and always give them insight into the current status of the financial situation.”

Bizcuit collaboration

The technology behind Buckaroo Accounting is provided by Bizcuit, a specialist in automating financial processes. Buckaroo and Bizcuit previously announced their collaboration to bring payment traffic and accounting closer together; with the launch of Buckaroo Accounting, that collaboration gets a concrete follow-up for Buckaroo customers.

“Merchants often only receive the total payout in the accounting, and miss the underlying details”, says Hessel Kuik, CEO at Bizcuit. “With the Buckaroo accounting linkage these payment service provider (PSP) transactions also automatically enter the accounting. That provides up-to-date insight and saves a ton of work.”

Connect in a few minutes

Customers can connect Buckaroo Accounting from today in the Buckaroo environment to their accounting package. After selecting the desired accounting program, authorization in the accounting software environment follows. Once that is completed, the connection is active.
Buckaroo Accounting supports 35+ connections. The solution works with AFAS, Exact Online, Twinfield, SnelStart, Moneybird, e-Boekhouden.nl, Minox and Yuki.
