Payment for breakdown assistance via app
In 2016, alarm center Eurocross Assistance and Centraal Beheer jointly introduced RoadGuard. A roadside assistance service via an app without a subscription or membership. It is the first app in the Netherlands that indicates in advance what the costs are for breakdown assistance, which technician comes to help and what time it is. How does that work?
Changing consumer needs and the increase in mobile use meant that Eurocross and Centraal Beheer felt that roadside assistance could also be done differently. With RoadGuard, consumers are not tied to recurring costs. You only pay for the breakdown assistance that you actually use.
"Buckaroo offers a wide range of payment methods and a link that helps us with credit management."
— Dolf Huijsman - Roadguard
Breakdown resolved? You can pay via app. You can choose from iDEAL, PayPal and credit card. A payment request can also be sent by email. Which, for example, can then be forwarded to someone else who makes the payment.
Dolf Huijsman, Business Controller at Eurocross: "We were looking for a suitable payment service provider. Buckaroo offers a wide range of payment methods and a link that helps us with credit management. Exactly what we needed for RoadGuard. The choice for Buckaroo was therefore made quickly. "
A flat tire, an empty battery or incorrectly refueled? In the event of a breakdown, the app can still be downloaded for free via the App Store and Google Play Store. Visit the Roadguard website for more information.
